SUMMER CAMP ’24

GENERAL INFORMATION

For those exotic animal lovers interested in an exciting summer program, Wellington Conservation Center is now taking reservations for children ages 8-14 for the summer months! This camp is an all-access pass to animal fun for the summer! Become a Jr. Zookeeper, learn about wildlife, or even just focus on some of our animals at the farm! There are three unique programs that are sure to interest kids of all ages! 

TIME AND COST:

Camp is 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM with before and aftercare available 8:30AM-4:30PM ($15/day per child)

$300/week per child

Lunch and snack can be provided at $5/day per child

Full payments are due one month prior to the session start date.

DEPOSITS:

A $100 per week non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to secure registration for camp.  Deposits may be transferred to other sessions if you need to make a switch if we are given at least a two week notice.

CANCELLATION:

Greater than 30 Days: A full refund of your payment balance will be refunded, minus your non-refundable deposit. If payment is taken via credit card, processing fees will apply.

15-30 Days Before: 50% of your payment balance will be refunded, minus your non-refundable deposit.  If payment is taken via credit card, processing fees will apply.

14 or Less Days Before:  No refund will be given if cancellation occurs.

MEDICATION AND ALLERGIES:

Any medication your child will require throughout the day must be disclosed before hand (name of medication, time of dosage, amount) and sent with them in single dose packs.

We request that any allergies are disclosed to WCC to avoid unnecessary contact with allergens.  If your child is allergic to cats/dogs/pet dander than this may not be the best camp for them 🙁

JR. ZOOKEEPER

Learn all about what it takes to be a zookeeper! HANDS-ON experience with our animals, with days focusing on zoology, feeding and cleaning, veterinary procedures, grooming, training, and enrichment!

WILDLIFE BIOLOGIST

Do you have a little conservation biologist at home? Let them come and learn all about what it takes to preserve our planet for years to come! We’ll take a look at the endangered species list, ecosystems, environmental problems, poaching and pet trade, and dinosaurs and extinction! And of course HANDS-ON time with the animals that are affected most!

OUR ANIMALS

Each day will take an in-depth look at one of our many species at the farm! Sloth Day, Lemur Day, Anteater Day, Wallaby Day and Capybara Day! Featuring up close encounters with each day’s guest of honor!
