Taco and Belle have arrived! They are two Southern Tamanduas or Lesser Anteaters, both less than a year old!
"What a wonderful little place tucked away in western Wellington! I took my kids here for a tour with Cole and he took us all around the property, let us feed and interact with some of the animals (where it was safe to do so), told us all about them, and explained how each of them arrived there. All of it was so interesting! I was pleasantly surprised to see how many exotic animals they actually had for us to see. All were so well cared for and loved.
They are a non-profit organization and all of the money collected for the tours is used to care for their animals. And I believe they also hold birthday parties on their property as well!
My kiddos are 4 and 2 and the tour was about 60 minutes which was just enough time to hold their attention. Thank you so much for hosting us today. We’ll be back soon! " - Stephanie 11/20
"Of all the animal sanctuaries I have toured in the WPB area this place is a great value and well behaved kids would probably love it. They only charged me $15 and I got to feed so many different animals. They have a baby sloth, porcupine, horses, pigs, foxes, lemurs. A wallaby. And the big "doggy" in the front corral. I was too busy to get pictures. " -Karen 8/21/19
"Fun for the family
Very fun! Our guide, Cole, was amazing! I would recommend it to any family looking to have a fun time over the weekend. There were so many cool animals and you get to go up close and feed/pet some of them!" - Zachary 1/21
